thanks so much for the pics emilee and fairy i think she looks great at the premiere!. so pretty and natural...i think the gold sleeves are a really sweet little detail without being overdone. i'm not sure about the shoes though. i really love how curly her hair is!. i wonder if it's natural....

I just saw Hunting and Gathering yesterday. (Thanks Adorefaith) Really beautiful film... the book was more complete, but Audrey's performance was really really good.

oh i'm glad you liked it azote! i will have to read the book now that you've suggested it...in a way i'm glad i saw the film first because films never live up to my expectations after i've read the book first... i would have hated that to tarnish my impression of audrey's performance...which i thought was beautiful...

but i have to say i'm surprised at all the good reviews of priceless...i didnt like it much at all...of course i thought audrey was gorgeous but the whole thing was so overdone and lacking in subtlety i thought..

I did, thanks! I agree with you about film vs book comparisons. Movies are always disappointing to me after I've read a book. Hunting and Gathering is a fantastic book though - the characters are really so beautifully written.
well, I agree that Priceless wasn't the most subtle film, but I thought it was a fun, light-hearted movie (kind of fluffy). I confess I saw it for Audrey, and it didn't really make any deep impact on me (though it obviously wasn't going for any meaning, lol). But, I applaud Audrey for taking a different role and for making her character likable...
