Studio edit. The casting on this is great as is the styling. Very very cute, possibly a little sophisticated for the tween set but in line with like 10 trends.
Just saw Austria (and Selina’s) spread in Teen Vogue, and must say Austria really looked lovely wearing her best accessory, a bright big smile in all the photos! However there’s something that bothered me with this spread, and that I’ve noticed in Teen Vogue and other magazines that bothers me, why is it when they use a girl of color, if they use any additional models, they will also be of color. And same with spreads using a Caucasian model, there will usually be only other Caucasian models. Personally, I think the contrast between a girl with a dark complexion and a girl with a fair complexion can be stunning and seems to celebrate diversity. Whereas when Teen Vogue and other magazines frequently do spreads in which multiple models in an editorial are always of the same race, gives an underlying feel of segregation. Perhaps it’s more so to do with uniformity of models, but really, I thought the uniformity ended with size not skin color…
