She's a very interesting person.... I'm doing a speech on her in English and I'm so excited.. We get to dress up and everything. Someone else is doing her too though . I wanna blow everyone away , does anyone have any sugestions on what I should wear?

Great speech topic. I think it would be good if you dressed up as a character from one of Ava Gardner's films. Some ideas:

Venus from One Touch of Venus
Kitty Collins from The Killers
Eloise Kelly from Mogambo
Maria Vargas from The Barefoot Contessa

I think those characters are some of her best known and have the best costumes. If you want me to post some pictures or more detailed costumes suggestions just say so. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much! I think Maria Vargas from The Barefoot Contessa, would be a great idea! Do have a particular outfit combination from the film you suggest? Also I was unsure with makeup and whatnot.... Do you think I should wear false eyelashes for that glamorous look?

I think for Maria Vargas you should wear something Spanish inspired. For make-up I think you should just wear lashings of black mascara and red lipstick. I think false eyelashes would make your look more glamorous, however, I wouldn't wear the eyelashes too long.

I went to Goodwill yesterday to find something to wear for the speech.... do you think she would have worn something like this in real life or in one of her movies?
