Anna Mouglalis' film 'Coco Chanel & Igor Stravkinsky’ closed the Cannes film festival, and so of course Mouglalis had to make sure that she wore an outfit to remember. But never fear, Karl Lagerfeld was on hand.

Lagerfeld created the emerald gown in homage to Ava Gardner who Lagerfeld feels Mouglalis resembles. It is a striking colour and has a very silver screen siren feel to it. It is also the sort of gown that La Femme Ava would have worn.

This retro 40's or 50's glam hairdo has that old hollywood feel to it. This particular style was inspired by Ava Gardner, a rich dark brown without that grayish sheen that many of the dark colors have. This just has warm chocolate underhuse and chestnut lowlights. To complete the look a subtle mesh chignon holder is at the base of the neck, holding the hair in place, decorated with pearls and a white orchid for true sophistication. A very simple and elegant haristyle, great for your vintage and retro looks and definitely something Ava woulld have worn
