To get this 50's classic retro look stick with a matte red lipstick, but before, apply a thin layer of foundation or use some powder to even out the skin. After applying the lipstick, i like to apply a cherry or red ton of lipgloss just in the center region of both upper and inferior lip.

I've used this lipstick for a LONG time. About 3 years and 2 repurchases later, I still use this for my glamourous nites out. Think Ava Gardner or Grace Kelly and you have the look that this lipstick gives. I must admit, it is jarring to imagine Ava Gardner wear this soft pink shade-I always see her in bolder colors.
