It is often in Milan that we see the industry’s top faces reappear on the runway, reminding the fashion industry who’s really the cream of the crop. Here, the top catwalkers become much clearer and certain models end up dominating all the top runways. And oftentimes we find some new faces that demonstrate that they soon will be challenging those top girls. Before we shift focus to the last fashion week of the month, we first take a look at the models who walked the most shows in Milan.

American Ava Smith hailing from Chicago is a clear winner for most shows walked in Milan Fashion Week, racking up a total of 19 shows, of which she closed 2—Fay and Iceberg. Ava once again demonstrated her star power, appearing in many of the important Milan shows, including Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Gucci and Versace. Following closely behind in showcount is the Danish Nadja Bender, who continued to book top shows after a breakout Fall season. This past week, this Gucci campaign girl was the opener of three shows—Emilio Pucci, Etro and Trussardi.
