How do you say hello where you’re from? “Hellooo!” What is your coffee order? Chai tea latte with soy. What are you wearing? A Rag & Bone shirtdress and booties from a French boutique that I can’t remember the name of. How were you discovered? Scouted near Chicago on the beach. Most memorable modeling moment: I met a cute boy seven years ago at a runway show; now we live together in Brooklyn. Most embarrassing modeling moment: I’ve had many. One of the more recent ones that comes to mind: I may or may not have given a very famous photographer “the pound” upon exiting a shoot . . . always professional. Favorite model of all time: Linda Evangelista or Christy Turlington Burns—love them!

Describe your style in five words: Casual, tailored, feminine, colorful, eclectic. Favorite designer: My mom Judith, who is in design school, she’s crazy, but genius—so creative. If you could trade closets with someone else, whose would you choose? I’m pretty happy with my clothes, but I’d love a bigger closet. Maybe I’d trade someone for more space—Bill Gates? What new addition to your wardrobe are you currently craving this season? Fancy pants! What item in your closet do you most cherish? Why? Red patent leather flats; I’ve never seen another shoe like them. What is the next thing you are going to purchase? A house, hopefully, I’m tired of paying rent!

What are the three items you always keep in your purse? A pen, candy, and my phone if I haven’t lost it yet. Beauty item you cannot live without: Realistically, chapstick; aesthetically, mascara. What nail polish color are you wearing right now? Vendetta by Chanel. Who was the last person to cut your hair? I usually go to Cutler Salon in New York, but I’ve also had it trimmed on shoots.

What is your Twitter handle? I don’t know what that is. What songs are on repeat on your iPod right now? “Eyes Wide Open” by Gotye. What movie is at the top of your Netflix queue? Y Tu Mamá También. Name the television character with whom you most identify: Garfield the cat—I like his priorities.

One place you always visit while in New York: I live in New York, but I love the park under the George Washington Bridge. Favorite destination you have traveled to so far: Phosphorescent Bay in Puerto Rico. Where would you like to go on your next vacation? Thailand.

If you weren’t modeling, what would be your dream job? Diplomat or humanitarian. Name one natural talent you wish you had: Playing the drums—really well. Subject you could wax poetic about/something that fascinates you: People’s psyches—I always want to know why. What are your words to live by? Nothing is permanent.

She's twenty-three and she's been with her boyfriend for seven years? So she met him when she was only sixteen? Very cool. Teenage couples staying together like that simply doesn't happen in our society. For them to have such a high level of commitment at that young an age speaks a great deal to their character. I applaud them both.
