Hey guys!
There's always discussions about why models are so tall etc etc, so I thought I'd collect data on what the average height is in different countries. Here's what I found out.
Average Heights of People:
Males
USA 175.5cm (5'9" 1/8)
Germany 174.5 (5'8" 3/4)
Japan 165.5 ( 5'5" 1/
Netherlands 182.5 (5'11" 7/8)
Scandinavians: 180 (5’11”)
162.5
5'4"
163.5
5'4" 1/4
153.0
5'0" 1/4
169.6
5'6" 3/7
165,5
5’5” 1/4
The average Vietnamese man is 5'0".
Of white European cultures, north Europeans are tallest. Italians are the shortest.
Australia's measured average for the entire male population was listed at 174.8cm, which is probably the equivalent of the New Zealand value of 175cm
I tried to get some data for South America, but couldn't, maybe you could try to cellect data from your own countries and add them?
