Bruce Makowsky is the husband to Kathy Van Zeeland.. the brand has been out for several years now, but it wasn't until recent lines that I think they have been gaining popularity.

I think depending on the quality of the leather would be the only reason why I would pick a bag up which was like this...
They don't look overwhelmingly spectacular, again potentially a designer who is probably charging a huge amount for something which isn't spectacular!

macy's carries a lot of his bags. i just bought a black leather backpack for an upcoming trip and for $180, the quality is very good. i could see myself buying again.

I see these bags at TJ's all the time. The leather used is incredibly soft and luxurious! The softest leather I have ever seen in this price range.
