Balenciaga Sack Bag

has anybody seen this bag instore? if so what are your opinions?

and here's the shoulder sack bag

I saw them at Aloha Rag a couple days ago and they were featured in the Last Look section of December's American Vogue. I think they are alright. I'd like to see them upclose but they don't seem to be especially interesting or clever. Not like the Motorcycle bags were when they first came out.

The black one is a bit too plain. The lovely deep green color gives the first one that little something special.

It's a really pretty shade of green, however rather Christmas-y. Or, dare I say it, St. Patty's Day-y. I'm not very fond of that suede-like finish (I have no idea what it's called, but I know I don't like it..) so, I would probably pass these up.

Btw, I have just seen the motorcycle ones in canvas with patent leather (red or green), are those for the spring season?? Can't find any pictures....

True, they're not as special or clever as the motorcycle bag, parachute or even the cargos, but the casual and sporty style appeals to me.

the black bag looks like a standard everywhere black bag, but there are a lot more exciting styles than this one if that's all you want and that's how much you want to pay...have you seen the lanvin bags? they are just a touch of heaven
