Yup...I agree...they do run true to size. I wear 37 for most of my shoes and the lanvin flat I also wear size 37.....they are very comfy.

i have LOADS of ballet flat shoes coz am 6 foot an dont wear heels. i have red patent leather ones, bright blue patent leather ones, blue an white stripey canvas ones, another pair of blue ones with a bow on the front, yellow ones, gold ones with ribbon, gold ones without ribbon, silver ones (which r REALLY dirty coz i have worn them that much) an i think thats it. most of mine r from topshop apart from the gold ones. the ones with ribbon r from miss selfridge an the ones without r from dorethy perkins. ther only about £25 4 a pair!! am hopin 2 get sum mustard yellow ones and green ones from new look coz ther only £15 each!! OMG!! lol

i am having such a hassle with those red chloe flats i ordered from intermix, first i order and 8 and get a 7 instead so i ship them back and order another 8, needless to say i get the 8 and beside the fact that it is too big and the leahter caves in at the toe they are also the floor sample cuz they have those little price labels on the bottom and little dark spots in a few places, like the leather either ripped off a little or its some sticky stuff that doesn't come off, so i am shipping them back and i ordered a 7.5 which alreadhy shipped. I tried to call up all the intermix boutiques but all but one sold ot of them and then its like this whole complicated process with faxing forms and other such nonsense so i decided to just order online. i guess the girl i spoke to was desperate for some commission so she was almost pressuring me to go through with the whole filling out of forms thing and told me that the whole company is sold out and she is literally holding the very last pair in her hands, they do have more in red online however. So this is basically my hassle but i want them so bad, i thing the more obstacles i meet in getting them the more i want them, i must be sick or something, lol.

Just to say that i am really addicted to ballet flats.
I have tried almost everything i could expecially because i can't walk with high heels. Frenchsole, repetto, chanel, marc jacobs, prada, robert clergerie,.....

Recently, i bought a pair of classic chanel ballet flats (beige and black) and another pair of chanel which are made of black tulle with a beautiful white camelia over the top. Just perfect ! !

I have to ask a question. I want to buy a pair of Lanvin but i am not sure about the comfort as i tried a pair about 2 years ago but the leather was so hard. I was difficult to walk with.

Are the new ones comfortable?
I have seen the black patent leather one, what do you think about ?

Yes....chocolate, black and red patent will be available for f/w, maybe more. These are just the few I know about. I have also heard black satin with crystals.

Lanvin flats are the MOST comfortable shoes ever! Since I bought a blk leather pair at Barneys. I fell in love and ended up searching everywhere and luckily finding 4 additional pairs. Seriously they are all I wear anymore. I have spolied my feet into ever wearing heels again
The only thing I found was that the blk leather pair was a bit tight around the heel (where the shoe is stretchy) and after wearing them all day my feet hurt a bit, and there was a red mark where the shoe stretched around my heel....but this was only the first time I wore them. The other leather pair I have and the patent and satin pairs were fine. The leather is so soft! My only advice would be to have your shoe maker put a zipsole on the soles. They are very delicate; the sole is very thin. The zipsole protects and will make the shoes last longer.

I just bought a classic pair of Chanel ballet flats. Black on black with patent leather at the front. I was thinking of getting a pair of Lanvin flats in gold but from the posts above it seems like they're all sold out.

Anybody know where I can get 'em in either Paris/Milan/Rome/Frankfurt? I'll be going to Europe in a month and Lanvin flats are on the top of my shopping list.
