Does anyone have a pair of lowcut ballet flats by Frenchsole? How low cut are they? As they have no left or right are they uncomfortable and do they keep falling off?

I know you can't consider them like "ballets flasts", but I think you all have a look to these ...

In case you haven't found out yet...^_^ ...MJ shoes are small...I'm size 36 to 36.5 in most shoes (36.5 in Jimmy Choo) and I have three pairs of MJ shoes, all in size 37.Hope you got your ballet flats and that they fitted!!:flower:

Yeah, I just bought those same flats she was talking about, except in mahogany with a green ribbon, and they are adorable but I had to buy a 40 and usually take a 39.

thanks for all the info. I am 8 1/2, bought the 9 and they are snug. Not snug enough to buy a bigger pair, but next time, I am buying designer shoes at the store. Its all good though, I love em! :flower:

how London sole and French sole different?
there's London sole website also sells ballet flats.

http://www.londonsole.com/

I've always wondered this myself. The only difference I see is the label and that London Sole's prices for the same exact shoes are higher! And the prices are represented in USD instead of GBP.

Over the last couple years I have gone through several inexpensive pairs of ballet flats. Right now I have some really pretty much perfect cheap Target flats, but they are not leather and my feet sweat in them - not comfortable in the summer (I just hate faux leather anyway). I just want some plain - PLAIN - black leather flats, but the cheapest I've found that fit the bill are the French Soles. (I don't want the ones with the elastic, the ones that fold in half, like at Urban. I bought some exactly like them at J. Crew last winter and the elastic hurt my ankles!) I can't believe what a long ongoing battle this search has been!

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or should I just order the ones from French Sole... I'm sure they would be worth the $$ and last...

Okay here's a pic of the French Sole pair I want. £45 at French Sole and $135 at London Sole. Am I just confusing currencies or something? Those numbers don't convert to the same price, right?!

The price difference is because of import duty and taxes into the USA, because French Soles shoes are made in Spain and Italy. That and the weak dollar /strong euro has really affected prices for the worse. I'm forever reading about USA footwear buyers bemoaning the fact.

French Sole and London sole are the same company. Someone registered the French Sole name in the USA so they can't use their own name over there.

oh... so £45 plus import duty and tax would end up being $135? wow... I had no idea it was that high... (£45 currently converts to $81.27 - that's over $50 in duty and taxes). crazy!

london sole doesn't even have either of the styles I like in black leather right now. this is ridiculous. I can't believe how difficult this search for plain black leather flats has become...

I have a pair like those. Great, comfy and I feel like a million dollars each time I wear them. Who needs heels in the summer(Actually I do, but these make me feel so great)they are not plain, they are exciting.

shalu, i have seen them in at barneys, bergdorf, saks (i think), and neiman marcus.. sometimes in different colors, though. also online at jildor.com

Pls help, I would like to buy one of the below flats from Chloe. But it's difficult for me to choose between the two. Thanks to give me the advices....Many thanks!!!;)

if any of you like the MJ ones that Sienna has, then check these out. I got mine from Zappos ( before Sienna got hers) they're pretty comfy for $40.
