electric -- I like the first ones better. I think they just look weird becuase there is a rubberband around the top and it's pulling the ends in, but once they're on they'll flaten out

I forgot to post about these! For over a year I have been searching for cheap plain leather flats (I've been wearing Target cheapies) and Gap came to my rescue! They added these to their site last week and I bought the red and black. I also like the beige and blue. They come in 12 colors, some metallic.
The fit is good and the quality decent. They're almost exactly what I've been looking for (just not crazy about the thick bows) and only $40, so I can't complain.

Brian, your black flats are so nice! I prefer the lowcuts more, i think they look cuter on feet.

ok, i have kind of a stupid question but i have really big feet (womens size 11) and i LOVE ballet flats but im self conscious wearing them because for some reason i think they make my feet look so huge. Could this actually be a problem or am i just imagining it? And somebody please answer because iv been wondering about thid for awhile lol.

Hi - I have kinda big feet - size 9-1/2 - 10 (and I'm only 5'6-1/2"!). Personally I try to stick with a lower cut ballet flat, as for some reason I feel a big toe part means my feet look bigger. And I wear them with more of a boot cut, rather than a skinny jean (while that's more because my legs can't handle it - but I think a skinny jean would make the foot look bigger too). Just grab an honest friend, try some shoes on and see what they think.

one of my friends has size 10 feet and also loves ballet flats..
she always pulls it off though, I never feel like she has 'big feet' like she does.. in fact, I was really shocked to learn she was a size 10!

I think her trick was similar to what luxury's lap said.. low cut in the front, with her jeans covering a bit, so her 'toe cleavage' peeps out just a little.
