Hi girls,

I need your help. I really want to buy the Marc jacobs shoes named MOUSE in black leather.
I know this model is not exactly a ballet flat but i would like to know if someone has them , how they size or if you have anything to say about this model feel free to reply .

Thanx in advance.:D

are you are referring to the classic mouse shoes that marc jacobs does every season? not the ones with the actual mouse face on them, right? the classic mouse shoes run about a 1/2 size small. they are fantastic- i have a couple in different colors.

everyone who is looking for lanvin ballet flats....just received mine yesterday and they are WAY too big. my other pairs are all 39 (except for one 38.5.....only b/c the 39 was sold out) and they fit great. the patent were a good full size too big and the leather a 1/2 size to big. i am not sure why the size would vary so much from spring to fall, but i would try them on b4 if you can or size down.

umm... i dont know if my question fits directly into this forum, but i'll have a go at it since it does revolve around flats!

so yeah, ive been wearing flats only this summer and sweat plus flats = very smelly feet and smelly flats!! any suggestions on how i can eliminate the odor? i heard baby powder is supposed to work and i tried it.. its ok but when u take the flats of u will leave traces of baby powder behind u!lol so.. how do u guys keep ur flats and ur feet from this horrible and humiliating odor?

thanks in advance!

I don't know if it's available where you live but I use Body Shop foot spray on my feet, and it seems to keep them from smelling. I've always used the peppermint kind, I just recently got some of the (new?) stuff with tea tree oil and rosemary and it works great too. Good luck! :)

do these qualify?

Mercer, in Topshop you can find almost the same ballet flats as those you posted!

ooooh! too bad i'm in the states. darned! topshop has the best stuff!

I love those Gap flats. In fact, if they have them at the one in my mall, I'm buying them tomorrow as soon as I get my check cashed. Do you know how much they were, Luxury?

Barneys got the Lanvin flats in last week but I think the leather and patent ones are all sold out. They still have green, purple and black satin, which are gorgeous but I don't think they wear very well. They're for dressy occasions but not for everyday wear. I was lucky enough to score the black leather and the chocolate patent but I had been on the waiting list since May. I got thin rubber soles put on them to protect them. I am in love and never want to wear anything else!

Hi myfavoritewaytostartamorning:

They're $39.50...and also available in silver.

I scored the last pair of black leather Lanvin flats at my Barney's last week. They're like the springs, not the ones on the Barney's website--more slipper-like than structured. They FEEL like slippers, too, but they're crazy durable! I've walked around in them a ton and the sole isn't showing much wear, not to mention the leather feels like it could survive a fire. They are amazing!

can any one help me with the tie flats please? they are like the chloe ones but does anyone know the cheaper versions? thankyou.

I'll post pictures of my new Lanvin flats soon  but it looks like we all know where most of Barney's stock of the flats went...E-BAY RESELLERS! Naturalgasgirl in this case. She's been listing a whole bunch regularly for the past week or so.

I just ordered a black pair of lanvin's yesterday. My SA (scott at BH barney's) found a pair of 38.5 somewhere. If anyone's interested you should call asap. Our barney's here has a pair but they're like size 36 or something. Madisonstyle.com still have them listed, but not sure what the stock is and the stores need to be called to find out. I noticed those on ebay...750 BIN! Yikes!

Oh wow. Now I'm worried. I normally wear 38s but the the s/s lanvins were too small for me, so I ordered 38.5 this season. I hope they didn't decide to change the size now! I even mentioned to the SA that the lanvin flats fit smaller and he agreed with me. Crossing my fingers that they're not too big now since it's not easy to just exchange these!
