Ballet flats

mundo,
smaller size is a better choice..
but be warned that the elastic will rub and might hurt after a little bit of walking..

Sounds good to me, you don't want your heel slipping around in the back when you walk (also, they look better if they fit snug, imo). The leather seems to stretch a little bit to conform to your feet, I think you picked the right size. :)

thanks guys!

I'm wearing them today for the first time, and after having them on for only an hour or so they've already loosened just the tiny amount to be perfect. Basically now they fit ideally, but don't show the outline of my toes as they were doing at first. I guess it helps that I'm wearing them with stockings today too.

Only one problem....now I really want a 2nd pair. Are there going to be patent colors available for s/s?

I love the Tory Burch flats, is there anywhere I can order that ship to europe?

You might try calling one of Tory's boutiques, it seems like they should be willing to help you ...

PS GG, the prices go up from there for exotic skins ...

Barneys already has their summer Lanvin flats??? What colors did you see/get???
I got plain black leather. they had that and silver and bronze or silver and gold? i'm not sure exactly but it was definitely 2 other metallics..

I've heard some people refer to these as the "resort" colors, but the label does say "eté 2007". so I dont really know.

mundodabolsa - It should be bronze if you're not sure. Which did you like better, the bronze or the silver? I got my silver pair in the mail today (I love it!!), it's the only colour I've seen in person from this summer. I'm so tempted to get the bronze too but I gotta stop spending money on shoes for a while. :P

here in the Philippines, there are really nice and soft ballet flats for as low as US $11. too bad my large feet (size 10) can't fit in most.

I should have my bronze from LVR soon. I'll let you know what I think. Glad you like the silver. :flower:

I am thinking of buying glitter ballet flats. Should I? Can I wear this with anything? What's a good color - black, bronze, gold, or silver?

Thanks

barneys has the black rose print lanvin flats for $515 in their current catalog.

I have a pair of glitter sandals that go with almost anything I wear in the summer.

I say if you find a pair you like, you should go for it.

As for the color, I think it depends on the look of the shoe. Sight unseen, I think bronze might be a good color? According to the box, my glitter shoes are grey.

Hope this helps.

mundo - sorry i am late to this, but yes smaller is def. better. lanvins stretch, esp. the leather. congrats on your purchase! they are addicting aren't they? not sure about patent for s/s 07 (with the exception of the floral print), but i am sure there will be some colors.

barneys ny has turquoise, yellow, red, silver and bronze leather and the floral patent lanvins. i am thinking about the florals - they are super cute!

all these flats are fantastic - especially the lanvin and repetto
the lanvin look so extremely comfortable~

for whoever was wondering, I have flats from urban outfitters and yes they're comfy but different colours take different times to stretch, at least in the style I have. The first day is always a little iffy for me but that's just how my feet are.

Ahh, my love for flats was lackluster as of late but now it is completely recovered

I got Keds Dolce Cherry flats today. They were cheap today because of the Boxing Day Sale.
