Ballet flats

i think classic flats are good for any line of work (well almost )
there is nothing more chic than someone who is secure of their style and wears a decent pair of black classic flats, if possible lanvin style

Thanks guys, gia0202 - I like those gold ones. :)

leyla m. - Yes, almost. Though obviously if I were to become a stripper nothing short of an 8" see-through platform boot with a tip slot would be work-appropriate. Obviously. ;)

I will see what I end up doing with my life and figure it out from there. I find that ballet flats don't break the rules of the business casual dress codes I've read but obviously I'd be more dressed up for an interview and would also see what the other ladies in the office were wearing.

For now, I'm really looking forward to wearing them with cute skirts and dresses for the summer. ^_^

i grabbed this red leather Anterprima shoes at 90% discount.. :woot: it's 1/2 size larger than my usual size but fits fine with an insole. one of my best buy on 2007. :p

I think ballet flats are okay. But I am getting sick of seeing them everywhere. I swear, everywhere I go, I see at least 1,200 girls wearing them, quite literally.

I was thinking of buying these. The the texture and color are quite unique. Do you think they're a bit too much?

billbill-Those are so cute!
dah- Not really liking them. I like green shoes but the embossing and buckle kind of ruin it for me.

I read in the paper that Pretty Ballerinas are opening a London store!

I saw these in my February issue of Instyle. I'd love to get my hands on a pair of these!

Does anybody know how is the quality of the Jamie Kreitman glitter ballerinas? Is the lining leather?

I'm wavering on these Free People crinkled ballet flats. Ideally, I'd love them in black but there's only teal in my size. Also, does anyone know the quality of Free People shoes?

FYI, Target has ballet flats in Leopard grey/ black, and orange / black. Wear with solid legigngs or tights. Dont wear leopard print leggings with leopard print unless maybe wear a solid color tunic or long shirt to offset the leopard look., Leopard tights and leggings you could find them online. Try sock-dreams.com or welovecolors.com or foottraffic.com, you should find them. If not, try searching other sites that I posted. Look under footless tights, leggings, and tights on this site for my postings. Many prior listed websites have them. Read my posts.
