Azzedine encore et toujours!
Cara Taylor just looks like the ultimate Alaia woman.
What I appreciate about Rhuigi is that he seems to have a clear and confident vision. And that vision has the potential to be appealing and he does accessories that have a kind of « mass appeal » to relaunch a brand like Bally!
I can see Mary J Blige wearing those dangerous boots that looks like weapons (thank god he didn’t cast Kristen), the bags were good and overall the accessories are solid.
However, I think that show was the perfect illustration of when the environment harms what could have been a solid collection.
The whole set, mixed with the clothes, the questionable styling of the menswear and the allure of the whole thing gave me 1970´s brothel vibe. It had a very vulgar, not trashy, but very vulgar undertone about it.
It’s a pity because there are some very beautiful things here: the spectacular velvet puffer jackets, the velvet dresses, the mikado silk black coat and flare pants and the zipped skirts.
