Jac needed about year, to take part in fashion show, but before, she'd done some covers in Asia and Hermes campaign. Now she's doing well too, there were many campaigns, some small editorials, but last season she opened and closed so many shows. Now she didn't opened/closed any show yet. I think fashion world is just a little bit tired of seeing her everywhere, when there are so many as beautiful girls as Jac.

Jac walked 23 shows in New York and 15 in Milan by far. And she did open/close shows in New York. It doesn't seem the fashion world is tired of her.

I don't know, but for me it looks like Jac is not as shiny as year ago. Of course I still love her, but I keep my fingers crossed for Basia. As one of member said: Basia is where she is by her work, not by any scandal

Well It's clear that it's more refreshing to see Basia on the catwalk now, it's her first season and Jacs' fourth

I like Basia, but I think she'll never beat Jac.
Another argument: Jac grabbed all the major shows in her very first season!! Basia didn't.
and anway: To wait till starting with fashion shows, really isn't bad. Jac was very young anyway (really, doing Fashion week with 13-14 ?!), and It's better to build up your portfolio and career slowly than beeing overhyped too fast.

sry, I'm biased I know but some arguments just don't make sense.

Maybe you're right. I think Basia will beat Jac, because of age in which Basia decided to be a model, because of her type of beauty etc.
I can talk about them, their careers etc. many hours, but I don't want to make offtop now

But in Poland, we have some phrase: there's no accounting for taste

the only new model i see catching up/beating Jac is Daphne G... Basia has potential but with her initial reception it'll be a surprise if she even gets anywhere close to where Jac is

I don't understand this whole Basia/Jac thing in the first place. Is Basia Jac's body double and won't become a proper model until she beats her? I don't have anything against Basia -although I'm not a fan of her but I really hope she'll do well - but this type of discussion creates some weird tension. I guess Jac doesn't need to be weak for Basia to shine?

Yeah I don't really like the comparison between the two b/c it sets Basia up for such high expectations. I only joined the discussion b/c its laughable to think that Jac is somehow fading out from the top..
