DESIGN DUO IN FINE STYLE

Helle Hestehave and Rikke Baumgarten, the designer duo behind Baum und
Pferdgarten, are for all individuals with a passion for fashion, a broad
horizon and sauntering stilettos. Baum is the brand with refined minis and
tight trousers, but from next season also the brand with hemlines focused on the
beautiful purple print of romantic maxi dresses and new twill-weave silk
joy.

Helle and Rikke's fine, cropped and well-sewn jackets have long been
essentials on their classic clothing menu: They master the art, despite some
doubting the sight of the funny high bell-like hats. Baum und Pfergarten
also master the art of the scarf, wrapped delicately around girls' swan like
necks - even during a heat wave. SS09 is white, dusty coral, purple and gray
- colours that become hip designs standing out from the masses. Well done.

Overall I dislike the 'white' collection.. 09 the skirt/shorts ? with the frayed edge has cute Chanel vibe but other than that.. no thanks..

It seems to me that Helle and Rikke are channeling Dries S/S 08 in the second part of their collection with the print mixing.. I quiet like it (both because the color combos appeal to me.. but also because they look integrable in my existing summer wardrobe together or as single pieces).

There's a lot of borrowing or interpretation of pieces/styling done by others..
the scarf in 33 - Balenciaga..
the heart blouse in 19 - anyone remember Victor & Rolf collaboration w. H&M ?
the layers in 22-23 - Pradaish (okay maybe thats a long stretch..)
