Behnaz Sarafpour turned out one of her loveliest lineups in years. The designer spent summer weekends gardening at her New Jersey farmhouse, so blooms and vines were on her mind: graphic oversize flowers were splashed on a flared skirt and wrap tunic, and stemmed daisies wound their way around a cloque dress. Not everything had such a literal floral bent — crisp button-down blouses came with pleated peaked shoulders, while a series of slim, silk faille dresses showed signs of Narciso, but were made new with tan grosgrain straps. These were lawn party clothes and a breath of fresh air after all those rompers and jumpsuits.
