She's been killing it in Cannes! .. that dress could've gone wrong but she manages to look elegant instead of vulgar, and that Jean Paul Gaultier number is also wonderful, I still remember that dress on Naomi being in every catwalk report from that season. I love that she seems genuinely into digging a bit deeper in the industry she's in, understanding design, going through past collections and looks.. for all that's said about her face or modeling skills, I think that level of sophistication and adventurousness sets her apart from the average model.. and it's much needed these days when everyone's just dressing as corny as possible!
Yes, I’ve never really cared for her style (on and off the red carpet) but between this and the Gaultier, she has dominated Cannes. Everyone else is wearing Dior, Celine and Chanel on rotation...
An absolute knockout at Cannes! First came that stunning monochromatic dress from the Jean Paul Gaultier archives and now the statement Schiaparelli look which just blew me away, jaw hitting the floor - the lot. This look is on track to go down in Cannes Film Festival history!
^ totally, I love it when Cannes does that once every 5 years or so, someone arrives and it's WOW, everyone else just kind of disappears!.. and you need to see 90 more pics of that cause it's flawless really. Nicole Kidman arriving in that pink Ungaro dress in 2004 was one of those moments, it's hard to see it now cause it was before the Paris, Lindsays and Kardashians, but I remember everyone went crazy cause things were either more tame, head-to-toe black or sexual, and she just looked like she took a break from governing some mythical island somewhere lol. Kirsten Dunst in Rochas was another one of those moments.. Natasha Poly in 2009, too.
The back of that dress is gorgeous.. that and the long sleeves make it look surprisingly comfortable.
