The 19-year-old model chatted with WWD before a party thrown to celebrate her new Joe’s campaign.
What is your diet and fitness routine like?
Right now my diet is pizza, so recently that’s all I’ve been eating. I’m not really a big ‘working out’ person, but I definitely like to do cardio when I do. I guess I run sometimes, drink green juices once a week.
Otherwise, you’re on a pizza diet?
I promise you, it’s like every day. Or burgers, French fries, grilled cheeses.
How do you spend your time when you’re in L.A. versus New York?
In L.A., I love being with my friends and being able to eat out and wear tank tops at night. I grew up in Malibu so it’s nice to be back home and be with my parents and sit and drive my car and listen to music and just chill out for a little bit.
Are you headed to Coachella again this year? Who are you excited about?
Jeez. I’m not sure yet. I don’t even know who’s performing. I probably will end up going the second weekend because that’s what always ends up happening.
What’s your beauty routine?
I kind of like to keep it very minimal. I get a lot of products sent to me and I like to try them, but I end up just literally washing my face and putting on moisturizer and toner.
You’re a natural blonde. Why have you stuck with being brunette for so long?
I think because my sister [Gigi Hadid] and I are so close, it’s nice to have the change. When I was younger, I dyed my hair blue. I love showing my style through my hair. When I was younger, I cut it and dyed it and it just stuck for a while.
Is it nice working in the same field as your sister? Do you go to each other for advice or support?
Yeah, totally. I think, because we’re so close in age [19 and 20], we’ve always been really close. We get to work together too now, which is great, being able to bounce ideas [off each other].
Would you be interested in designing a clothing line with your sister?
We definitely talked about it when we were younger, but with both of us being really busy right now, it’s kind of hard. But maybe eventually, that would be fun.
