Loving it! So excited to see that he's going back to his roots a bit more. Completely agree with you too,droog. It is indeed quite nice to see him evolving from the sweatshirt stuff. Especially since this is the menswear. But I adore most of the tailored pieces and some of the quirky accessories.

sadly this is going to be bernhard's last collection for men. apparently the market just isn't large enough for him to sustain both a men's and women's line. while the japanese market is essentially his bread and butter, his men's collection has but one U.S. stockist.

so pick up any of his remaining men's pieces while you can, because it's going to be nearly impossible after production for s/s 07 has ceased.

that doesn't even make sense. since willhelm is not owned by a larger fashion house/group, his finances can be used autonomously by willhelm. the cessation of his men's label is due to lost revenue, so the money pumped into that will just be used to finance his women's label.

and i don't think there's any refuting willhelm's talent. do some research and look at the awards he's accumulated.

That's so sad...though he'll probably incorporate some more unisex elements into his womenswear line, esp with all the volume he likes to explore anyway.
