Argh...I got my Lanvin boots in black leather that I ordered from Pollyanna and had sent to Canada and they were way too wide for my calves and the leather was horrible, so I sent them back (for a ridiculous amount of postage, but I wanted a quick and easy refund and didn't want to bother with selling them on ebay or whatever). I'm in the States now and I've got the black patent and brown leather pairs from Barney's that I had sent to my boyfriend's place and the fit is great and the leather is fine. What on earth was up with that black leather pair?! They were all the same size and everything. I'm upset now because Barney's was sold out of the black leather in my size by the time I was able to order and I somehow feel like if I'd been able to get the boots from them they'd be the same as these other pairs. I could have sworn the ones from England were made in Portugal too...I have no idea why they would fit and feel so different. I really wanted the black leather too.
Now I have to decide what I'm keeping from Barney's, probably just the black patent because I really don't have that many fall or winter clothes that go with brown. I wish I could get my hands on another black leather pair, if they'd just fit they'd be perfect.
