Interested in knowing who's who in the Middle-East? There is a huge fashion scene in the Arab world that hasn't been properly exposed yet take a look!

The first arabic designer I'm posting for you guys is Abed Mahfouz. Amazing artist known for his impeccable colour scheming. Abed Mahfouz hails from Lebanon. These are pics from his F/W 2006 collection Enjoy!

I agree Taz, Azzedine Alaia is a genius in couture architecture! His creations are truly avantgarde! and about Ellie Saab, couldnt agree more Gius! The gowns Halle Berry used for the two consecutive Academy Awards ceremonies really put him on the international map.

I'm back! With a new designer
This time its the Beirutian Tony Ward (no not Madonna's ex-lover lol). He went to school in Paris and have worked for the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Ferre for Dior and many more before he went back to Lebanon to start his own Haute Couture line. here are some pics from his F/W 05/06 collection! Does Tony Ward show in Lebanon? I love that red dress, if I didn't have hips I would totally wear it as my prom dress. It is simply divine. His collection outshines many that were on the HC week.

I love the Abed Mahfouz also, I love the artistry of the dresses. They are creative without being over-the-top and I love that because it just makes many more pieces wearable.
