I've used the nose strips and they feel really cool. I don't know about you but there is some satisfaction when you peel that strip off and you see all the junk that it has taken with it. Though it doesn't get everything out though... I'm still looking for something that is more effective for nose-blackheads since my pores are kinda big there.

If you're going for the strips, I've found Biore's to be the strongest out of a few that i tried.

I've got the ice cleanser, which is reeally refreshing, though if you don't moisturise, can make your skin feel a little tight.

I've also used the blackhead warming exfoliating face wash, and that feels great too

I have noticed an improvement in blackheads after using these both (without using the pre strips, which do nothing for me) - so I'd give it a shot

actually, i didn't like that warming exfoliating wash. i think it just turned blue because of the dye in the blue beads. and the pore strips don't really do uch for me except take out the little hairs on my nose.

Bow down to the Biore Skin Product line!!

Really prominant pores run in my family.

And therefore.... blackheads
I get blackheads all the time, no matter how much I cleanse and exfoliate.
So one day.. I decided to use a Biore Nose strip.
It was the best thing for me.
My pores were greatly reduced in size, and they tore my blackheads right out!

I use the Biore Pore Unclogging scrub after I wear make up as well.... and it makes my skin feel SO soft and taut. You look brighter and more even toned.
I really do suggest this line!

OH MY GOSH...I am going to the store RIGHT NOW to buy these! I've had the most annoying blackheads/whiteheads on my nose and washing my face isn't getting them out.

it sounds like some of you – well, one of you – had a good experience with them, but based on my own experience with the strips i agree with tealady, i would not use them. they do enlarge the pores. maybe doing it once in a great while is all right, but using them is definitely not a habit you want to develop. don't use them at all, is my advice, i think they're gimmicky.

I've never had a problem using pore strips. My pores aren't enlarged nor have they made my pores bigger.

How could taking the gunk out of your pores be any more "pore enlarging" than keeping it in? What makes my pores big is all the junk in them... taking the stuff out makes my pores look smaller. And yeah, I have to do it every two weeks or so, but the $1 for the strip is money well spent in my opinion...

^ I expect it is because it could stretch your skin when you pull on it.

I don't know...it's nothing I would buy or try, and if you ever saw me you'd know I'm no authority on skincare, but what I understand to be best is mild exfoliation every few days, gentle soap daily, and a light, oil-free moisturizer daily,

nose strips also came up in the blackheads thread, dermatologists don't seem to like them much. you know if they work for you, fine, but if you're just thinking about using them i'd try something diferent first.
