Birka?

Has anybody heard anything about this brand? My friend asked me about it and as I have never heard of it I thought I would post and see if anybody knew anything. I know it's scandinavian so maybe so tfspotters from there know of it's quality, how it's viewed, etc. etc

These glasses are simple, basic and good quality. In Sweden, they're not viewed as boring, or very trendy, just basic good stuff. Timeless but with a bit of attitude sometimes. I think of them as glasses for a little bit more sophisticated grown-ups. They usually have very clean, sometimes practically graphic lines. I like them!

Birka was also the name of the old Viking city which (more or less) preceded Stockholm; it was situated on an island called Ekerö which is now a distant suburb.

Birka means sheep in hungarian.
Funny brand, hope to know it better soon. ^^
