what's your problem exactly?

a) the comme des garcons black version in those items above is cheaper than the one on sale at anastasia.
b) comme des garcons homme plus evergreen is another line that remakes older designs so CdG black is hardly new idea.
c)it's CdG's 40th anniversary this year. so it seems apt to go back over the old collections and take a trip down memory lane.

what a bull**** line

anyone who knows comme des garcons, knows that these clothes have been done before in another collections. the only thing "black" has done, is taken old patterns and made them in black fabrics. i have seen many of these items at other stores, and it makes no sense for the line to recopy and mark up because of it.

...The pricing is sooo good and the quality very close to mainline if not the same. She's giving the design part for free, all the pieces are staples of cdg world. Evergreen is a different concept, where they pick old designs and try to refresh them, the price point is also much higher than Black's.

Sorry for bumping an old thread...just wondering now that this line has been around the block for a bit, what the thoughts are? I read that the quality isn't on par with the mainlines, but I assumed that was a given (with the price-point).

Because I live in Vancouver BC, I haven't come across any Comme des Garcons Black. I still wear alot of my Comme des garcons X H&M pieces, and I'm curious if the quality is better or smiliar to those pieces.

I'm personally confused which ones are the mens or womens pieces because it's all under the Black label. I hope we get a pop-up shop in Canada soon!

I'm fairly certain it's seasonal.

It's seasonal, a few pieces every season and from now on that BLACK turned EDITED BLACK a few limited edition items only for the EDITED BLACK shops or corners.

For the quality it's not like the main lines of course but way better from CDG x H&M and last but not least the production is in Japan.
