It was much sweeter and more girly with the cartoon t-shirt and furry shoes.

He seems like a nice guy, but I 100% hate this collection. It's not trashy enough, nor is it sweet enough baby doll, nor is it provocative hooker enough like Saint Laurent. Olympia Le-Tan or someone like that could have made this house more special

For me there’s a lolita-esque quality for grown women in the aesthetic of Blumarine. It’s supposed to be sugary, and girly but worn by women with attitude.

This is too sex on legs for me.

i am absolutely here for this. Sexy, feminine, a very well rounded collection. I like his Blumarine woman

It looks like he is picking up where Dundas left off at Pucci and Ungaro and no one has successfully filled that niche again. Did he ever with dundas- the vibe, furs, etc are all very him before he lost his touch…



Side note- It seems like they ran out of budget for the set though. Those planters with the flowers are a bit sad and depressing. Either go fully immersive or bare.

It’s not hard to improve on Walter, but this show feels so dated! And not in a y2k way but more like a “5years ago and now way past it’s sell by date” kind of way. There’s no need for it to exist! And I agree about the set, it all feels so poor!

Nooooo this just isn’t it. Like others said, Blumarine should be a little more sugary sweet, more girly. When I think of Blumarine I think little babydoll dresses, cardigans with bows and fur trim, and neat little A-line coats and jackets. Considering the revival of coquette styles in the mainstream, and what Blumarine is usually priced at, they could’ve brought in a lot more customers. This just looks like every other try-hard hooker chic collection being pumped out by the likes of LSS or the bad B-list designers in NYC.

Also why this color palette again??? Please someone, give me purples oranges and greens! There’s a whole other half of the color wheel designers aren’t using these days.

It’s a less sexy version of what he does at his namesake brand. I always imagined that a true Blumarine girl is this sweet Lolita like creature. I’m all for re establishment and re introduction of codes but this wasn’t it…. Let’s give him the benefit of a doubt as it’s his first collection though

Instead of Lolitas, he delivered an entire wardrobe for next reboot of "Twilight". I can imagine Kristen Stewart looking as inexpressive as usual wearing this collection.
