Sorry but for me it looks exactly like what Juergen did with Phoebe at Céline -especially their FW 2010 campaign-.
First Xiao for Prada and now Jean for Bottega. Such odd choices, they were fresh a few years ago but not anymore. I love her but it feels so random. Kinda fun Andre Walker being part of the campaign. I'd love to see someone with real talent like him as CD instead of posing for the advertising.

Same! Maybe it's because I'm a fan of this new direction but I just can't take issue with a strong vision (that is certainly an extension of Phoebe's for Celine, not gonna lie) when everything else is so neutered these days. It's great to see a brand find its footing so quickly and build this attractive world in a year.

I like all the images except the one with that guy, whoever he is. I also think I like the campaign better without the white border and logo. Something about it just looks a bit off. Maybe because it's a bit too similar to Loewe except Anderson and Meisel still do it better.

The vast majority of customers won't know the difference between when Xiao or Jean were 'fresh,' they'll just be concerned with how they look now.
Most people don't pick up on those things like we do here, I feel. But totally see your point.
