I'm considering purchasing these, but I thought I'd put them out here for the shoe experts to judge.

I really like the buckle detail, the toeline area which makes them look like dressy shoes, but I'm wondering if the heel looks too odd.

Also, I have never purchased BV shoes, but I'm assuming the quality is excellent. I may try and get down to the store today to try some shoes on to see how they fit. If anyone has any experience with their shoes, I'd appreciate some feedback.

I took the plunge and ordered them, even though I swore I wasn't going to purchase anything for myself until Dec/January sales, since I need so little.


Do you think they are too rock starish? That defintely isn't me, but I like that they have a certain type of twist and would definetly add a bit of interest to my shoe collection, which is nice, but fairly mundane and safe.

I actually plan on wearing them with some of my wider legged dress trousers. I'm praying they fit, I was too lazy to go down to the BV store and try on some shoes.

Wear them however you see fit- I don't think they are too "Rock star". They are cool, though.

The boots came yesterday, and I ordered them on Sunday night!!! Talk about fast! I didn't know Yoox ships from Secaucus, wow. They fit perfectly and I'm so happy I didn't go a half size larger. Being that they are brown/natural, I'm wondering if I should spray them with a protector first, or just stick to my regular shoe shines/care from the cobbler. It's the kind of shoe that shows each and every little mark (which gives it character, nice).

i know...if i had known that sooner i probably would have gotten into a whole lot of trouble...the delivery is super quick...

i think you should spray them...just for now...eventually it will wear off and then nature will take it's course...

interesting, if they wer black.. they would remind of a leather clad biker handle bar moustache leather police hat wearing gay guy...
but in brown.. it takes away from those references.. n just looks like a boot with buckles
