Bridget Hall

lonn3k3 - many thanks for the pictures of Bridget - she was one of the greatest - I always loved her:flower:. Too bad her career has fizzled:cry: ! She shouldn't have done all that SI crap. But these pictures are great. This is especially true because I've lived in New York all my life. Pictures 1, 3 & 5 were taken in the Subway Museum in Brooklyn. Bridget is alongside of, or inside of a type R-11 New York City subway car. All those cars have been scraped now - except for one in the museum. I rode them when I was a kid, on the J, L, QJ & RJ lines. This is just so great:woot: - a little piece of New York history. And Bridget lives (or used to live) not so far from the museum - in Park Slope in Brooklyn - only five stops away on the F line at 7th Ave/9th St. station. And I love the Canarise destination sign in the last picture. 15 - 20 years ago you needed a Uzi to walk around in that part of Brooklyn. It's a lot safer now.
P.S. What year are the adverts from - around 2000-01? - and who's the blonde? MTIA for any info!

IMO, she is the only model that can successfully go from high fashion editorial to mainstream in the blink of an eye. She is a natural beauty and a talented model :flower:

^That there is the Vogue shot that just stopped my eye when I was a pre-teen and conventional looks had far more of an appeal than they do now. Still Bridget is undeniably lovely and not as boring as some.

Thank you so much for posting those vintage Bridget covers!
