lonn3k3 - many thanks for the pictures of Bridget - she was one of the greatest - I always loved her. Too bad her career has fizzled ! She shouldn't have done all that SI crap. But these pictures are great. This is especially true because I've lived in New York all my life. Pictures 1, 3 & 5 were taken in the Subway Museum in Brooklyn. Bridget is alongside of, or inside of a type R-11 New York City subway car. All those cars have been scraped now - except for one in the museum. I rode them when I was a kid, on the J, L, QJ & RJ lines. This is just so great - a little piece of New York history. And Bridget lives (or used to live) not so far from the museum - in Park Slope in Brooklyn - only five stops away on the F line at 7th Ave/9th St. station. And I love the Canarise destination sign in the last picture. 15 - 20 years ago you needed a Uzi to walk around in that part of Brooklyn. It's a lot safer now.lonn3k3 said:demarchelier
