Not too many great images online, but hopefully someone else has more...

Young New York designer who won both awards at GenArt Fresh Faces 2006

He's been discussed in a couple of threads...but now...here's his very own.

I have never heard of him, but this look pretty good. Thanks for sharing!

i like some of these fabrics
and also the shapes of the clothes. THey are loose and fitted at the same time

adorable, the shapes, the silhouhette.. very Christobal Balenciaga, love this

thanks for bringing this in cerfas

^why's that? Cristobal's influence doesn't just cease with what Nicolas is doing.

quite refreshing for a NY designer, especially. thank you for posting this, darling :flower:

his collections have previously been based off of womens wardrobe. first season there was a coat dress (grey one with belt) lingerie dress, evening dress (white one) etc

Thank you for this - I came across the silver dress on nymag.com and very much wanted to see more. I like the sculptural quality.

Exactly why I also love this..

Particularly the grey dress, it is out of this world:crush:

I love the shapes.. it seems modern but also feminine.. I really like what I've seen so far, thanks for posting cerfas.:flower:

You're welcome, WhiteLinen, kan-i-ta, Lena, Scott, skirted, and pucci_mama (whew)!

The first one is my favorite...it's nearly bizarre...but it still works, and looks elegant.

Miss_Galliano, are you not a fan of Balenciaga, or you feel that it's too derivative?

i have posted one or two looks from Bruno before in a 'who-to-watch-out-for' thread one or two seasons ago.. i think i should try to bring those here too.

he's a great hope for the NY design scene
any ss07 lookbook pics available?

hes been touted a lot by some fashion insirders
seen him once at a fashion event here in NYC.
he uses some very good fabrics for his work. (saw a few pieces at a store on Lower east side, cant remember the name right now) i think he is from south america (probably brazil) he does only dresses, kinda cool but i am waiting a few more seasons to see how he evolves)
