Dated and no story in one word disjointed.

feels like he has been there 6 years already doing the same things type of collection Kim Jones vibe.

yes there are some beautiful colors or details but reading all comments we are all doing the homework again in finding positive notes to it while he could have easily knock it out of the park with something more defined and glorious.

yet you can clearly see his overdesign & heavy on the eye ideas he been doing since joining the brand with the corporate creative meddling in the mix just was not enough.

again ready made outlet clothes too trendy but 3 years too late i can't see any more phoebe esk mop dresses in all versions and materials also at BV &co

i don't care if he personally knitted it for phoebe at celine

i am starting to hate phoebe style elements and even her brand and its not her fault she can ref herself 1000 times its fine but its just everywhere for years and it's not fresh anymore for some time now.

DL should go DL for a while .......its like he is a hamster endlessly in a hamster wheel with his same design ideas

It feels like he's there to tick some boxes to keep the job and to sell stuff. It doesn't feel nearly as fresh and hooligan-like the way he 'performed' it at BV. This was nice and cleaned up, but not defined at all. I caught myself thinking that I forgot what I was looking at 2 mins later. Nice clothes, wearable, but we know he can do way better than this. It's like he's constrained in a cage or something

you can see a possible brilliant mind struggling to say it kindly this collection showed it poetically on all levels in its failure the music was the most triumphant thing but there was nothing to celebrate for.

It was obvious to me that a lot of collective effort went into this collection (by the way the fabrics are incredible), but something is missing here. Do you feel like his light at Burberry was almost dimmed?

I can’t help but think of what will come out of this. The shoes were great, fewer bags than usual and while there were a lot of separates, considering the direction Burberry is heading, it almost looked too HF. So how much of this will be produced.

I only care about where Lee is heading next. A lot of stuff of his era will end up in Outlets anyway.
I couldn’t care less about Burberry tbh.

I was also thinking similarly to you. How much of this will go into production? Collection merchandisers have a lot to work with here nonetheless
Honestly i think the number one issue here are the prices-we know they will be crazy- which is an added disadvantage he doesnt need as a cd at burberry

I wonder if simone belotti is actually going to js? because Daniel would be ticking all the boxes there and renzo rosso is known to give freedom to his cds

anyway, it really is a great collection. most believable yet. And somehow, there is always something off. Last few seasons it was those strappy, silky poety blouse dress blobs (which showed up here though less offensive) and this time it was the skinny jean leggings which just felt really odd.
