exactly! except H&M know whom to hire to make their merchandise look good. this looks like a cheap catalog.

I suppose when the designs are so impossibly bland, so department-store generic, and the photographer clearly doesn't even bother and just lets the post-production staff wrangle up this airbrush-painting result... the only positive thing everyone has to say is that at least two black models are fronting the campaign. I mean, that's good, right...?

Christopher doesn't care; Mario doesn't care-- Burberry Prorsum is now nothing more than a brand dictated by the stockholders to appeal to as wide a demographic as possible. Nothing more..

You might think that a model of Naomi Campbell's stature could pretty much write her own ticket to whatever fashion campaign she pleases. Not so, according to a primary source on the matter: Naomi Campbell herself. She tells Yahoo Style that, prior to her Burberry campaign with Jourdan Dunn, she imposed a go-see on herself.

Mario (Testino) and Christopher (Bailey) came up with this idea of having myself and Jourdan be the two girls for Spring/Summer 2015, and when I got the phone call I was like “No, I don’t believe this, it’s probably not going to work out.” I called up Mario and I said, “I want to come on a go-see, I want you to see how I look.” So I did a go-see for Mario! At 44 years old!

I absolutely love how they decided to lay this out in print. Alongside the shot of Noami & Jourdan is a blank white page with the Burberry emblem in black which looks really eye-catching, refreshing and compliments the colours of the campaign perfectly, I love it!
