I am indifferent to the check, but the new print is quite ugly that might only work with speedo. Overall, I don't mind the new direction because Burberry is a basic brand no matter how hard people try to make it happen.

Agreed. It doesn’t necessarily look bad, but it’s like they’re both posing solo- completely disjointed.
