Yes, H&M pseudo-historical nylon products retailing at £450, with their twee horsey-man logo, randomly placed over every picture, looking like a nightclub stamp from a medieval-themed party.

If you were a proper eccentric, and wanted to have fun with fashion, you could do something like trace your clan's tartan (or just pick one you like) and get someone to make you something with the pattern. There'd be actual 'heritage' behind it, some cultural discovery, and a little bit of bespoke-ness about the items.

I love Tyrone Lenin’s aesthetic for Daniel Lee but this was the perfect opportunity to present a new alteration of the classic check.

This screams tacky. No matter who photograph these products, they will always look tacky.

the logo placement is one of the worse marketing strategies I have ever seen. absolutely random and incoherent.

I don’t mind it at all but place it decently in one of the corners or even as a water mark in some pictures, it could work.

so far, Lee is not delivering anything yet.

I like the random logo placement. Personally I think that looks modern and fresh. The issue maybe is that he’s not drilling the logo strongly, it needs to build and become iconic, I feel he’s relying too much on the blue.
The campaign is nice but not groundbreaking. It’s sexy in a way.

Nice casting and I always like Tyrone Lebon's work but this feels more like the campaigns he did for Stussy rather than Bottega Veneta. Overall, Lee's Burberry lacks the luxe factor I enjoyed at his BV.
