Burberry - The Campaign Archive

I'll retract my statement that these ads are boring. The first one I saw with Kate in a magazine was a tad bit dull, but looking at the series they're actually quite beautiful photographs.

same for me

Well I'm happy with the ads, as usual. Burberry's as reliable as ever. That last shot's gorgeous, PinkAnik... sure, it can be argued Gemma's too young or too modern a face for the old, tried-and-true formula, but on a personal level I don't mind. :p

You know, as good as Kate looks, I don't think the ad's would be the same without Mr. Dancy...

They're gorgeous. I think Kate is perfect for Burberry, but Gemma also looks great.

i love the feel of this ad, lovely and very brit. it eludes the message of burberry completely!! i find gemma's expression in the 2nd pic to be a bit odd though, but apart from that...

a great campaign!!

from fwd:

Christopher Bailey has rolled up his sleeves and crumpled the trench. The Burberry creative director has designed a “wrinkled” leather trenchcoat in pale pink to launch in October in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Week. The $1,895 knee-length trench will feature its own ad campaign, starring Kate Moss and photographed by Mario Testino. A striped pink pom-pom lambswool scarf, priced at $195, will complement the collection. Both items will be available at Burberry retail stores worldwide, Holt Renfrew, and Saks Fifth Avenue, though the trench will be available only at Saks’ Manhattan flagship. As part of the label’s breast cancer initiative, 30 percent of retail sales will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

I personally think gemma even outshines kate in these ads, love them!

I thought Lily D was great in Burberry last year, but Gemma is fantastic to.

But who is the hottie with Gemma on the second ad?

I agree. He looks like the perfect British gentleman.

I always love burberry ads, but I don't really like Kate's hairstyle in the F/W-campaign. It makes her forehead look kinda short.
