The influence of a summer trip to Mexico was evident in Cédric Charlier’s pre-fall lineup, which was beautiful in the way he tempered Latin exuberance through a Belgian’s lens. Though he had ponchos and cascading fringe, a chic mohair and faux leather top shown with a layered pleated skirt captured inspiration with particular subtlety. The merino wool tunic and pants, meanwhile, had a loungey vibe that was perfect for siesta.
