Them again The most lack of depth pairing for Calvin Klein for a long time and it shows in their career other than CK. I love Clark but he is so next door cuttie and Vanessa just one dimensional Pretty Pretty but then after seasons goes to Pretty boring. After Lara left CKC their campaign cast IMO are questionable Hope they shake things up

I personally think it looks just like some of the previous black and white ads that M&M did with Lara; except for this one obviously being color. I miss the sex appeal that Natalia gave to the campaign; Lara too. And while I think Clark is major eye-candy, I think they should shake-up the men's casting as well. (The last time I was wowed by casting was when they got David Agbodji.) I love, love Vanessa, but I think I liked her better for Prada. It really all has gotten repetitive at Calvin; that's just me.

I'll wait to see clearer images, but Vanessa's shots look promising.

I have to agree that Clark is a little too "boy next door". Vanessa, on the other hand, is beautiful but her beauty is interesting, which I think works with the more conceptual designs.

I personally think they should at least bring Suvi back. She'd have been perfect for this campaign. Vanessa's shots really doesn't wow me. She's not a good fit with CK.

Such a bummer to see Vanessa. Vanessa is pretty but after her second campaign with them pretty got me bored. She was a refreshing choice after the Lara campaign (and I love Lara) but now I wish Lara back. My problem with Vanessa is that she has zero sex appeal and lack of attitude in her campaigns.

First two images are boring, but maybe others are better.

It makes me wonder if A) Vanessa was only exclusive for a year (2 and 3 campaigns) or B) Did she ever signed an EXCLUSIVE contract with them after all? Can't find it anywhere online that she did, unlike Lara and Jac.
I find this so weird, because CK never let their exclusive models other campaigns (with exception of fragrance and beauty).

I'm also disappointed to see her again. Her first two campaigns by M&M were fantastic because they made her look womanly. But now that Sims is back, Vanessa looks like a little girl again, not CK appropriate. I had hoped they would sign Alisa Ahmann after she opened last season. Now that girl looks like a gorgeous woman.

While I have enormous respect and admiration for David Sims' career, I think he has turned a big bore in the last few years. It's always the same now, generic even. I'm especially bummed here because this was my favorite collection of the season and with those silhouettes, textures and details they could have created a staggering campaign images. Now it's all watered down to a boring "minimalist" thing... This sort of images turn up now everywhere and at any price point. They should really remember to distinguish themselves also with the ads, as much as they already do with their collections.

Well what do you know. I never thought i'd write in a CK campaign thread. I don't even like Vanessa nor David Sims but I still feel this is pretty strong and more subtle than M&M's blunt work. Grading, composition, skin, it's all pretty fantastic to me. A bit hard even, yet cold and warm.
I prefer Karim Adli or Collier Schorr's work for Jill Sander but color me impressed for a change CK. I found your clothes suddenly a lot more interesting. Which was your point, no?

Honestly I wish they would've gone with someone else. There are no fresh elements to this. The same theme has been done with the same model.
