I love Camilla's photographic style, but as I've mentioned earlier in this thread I'm growing tired of it and it's not simply because of Camilla, but the people who are imitating her. A lot of her peers mock her aesthetic, not to mention a lot of teenage "photographers" mimicking the same color palette, use of light and feeling of ethereality. I feel somewhat sorry for her because she's developed such a unique photographic vision and even though she is the master of her own genre and it feels most honest coming from her, it's like other people are ruining it for her. Everyone wants to be soft and feminine. A lot of photographers seem like they reference her work now which is probably the reason why it feels so...redundant now.

I understand what you mean but what i'm saying is that this certain "style" is becoming so cliche'; it's lovely when you see it occasionally but seeing it over and over and over again makes you appreciate it less..at least, for me.

^ I can relate to what you are saying but isnt it the same thing happening with Walter Pfeiffer, Jurgen Teller and Terry's of the world? How easy it looks to emulate something like that, any flash camera, very low cost of production, saturation is surely inevitable...

Has artists that some photographers are, I think you are constanly developping your own aesthetic, for instance take Mert & Marcus, recently we saw them change a little bit their style for something less bold... Or even Terry with studio shots. What defines some photographers can make them caricatural.

Camilla is quite prominent with her vision and approach not many people can duplicate that!

Considering Teller or Richardson, Camilla has taken advantage of their style but made it her own with a touch of softness and glamour(can be seen in the ed feat Mariacarla, Siri et.c).

Marella's campaign looks so badly edited!

that ed is amazing Anja looks so soft and sensual here, in an
entirely different level. her poses are almost teasing yet doesn't give that
sexual vibe that it may have gotten if this was from a different model. and
it think it's great of Camilla to be able to capture this ed, the whole barn
scene without making it look cheap or garish. her lighting is just amazing

and that 2nd shot is too cute
