hi, I'm new. I just bought a new pair of ankle boots on sale. Theyre perfect expect that I'm not fond of patent leather. Is there any way to at least tone down the shininess a bit?

I don't think there is a way to make patent not shine, unless the material gets scuffed. Even then the shoes would no longer be wearable.

If you don't like patent, then you should return them and find something that you really enjoy, as patent is meant to be shiny. Did you get them just b/c they were on sale?

i dont think it's possible
the leather is processed in a certain way before becoming patent so i believe it's not possible

Patent is lovely  I guess you should let the boots go so that someone who loves them can buy them :p
