I have a feeling that Candice is going to come back to work in a BIG way. She's stayed friendly on Instagram with a ton of different fashion people and they all constantly like her posts and such. I can see her coming back and landing several major campaigns, as well as her VS work, obviously.

Also I really missed her at the VSFS last year. Didn't realize how much of a fan I was, really, until she wasn't there.

I thinki it's partly due to the lackluster bunch of newbies, as well. I mean she was missed, but there were way too many forgettable faces/names that made you yearn for the regulars.

She's been away for the past several months, everyone knows she just had a baby. This could have been a chance for her to make her first appearance a real statement of intention to do FASHION work. She has the body and the charisma to pull off something avant garde - I wish she had've gone that route instead of this pretty but very very boring gown.

I disagree, the past 2 times she went to the MET Gala she went in really form fitting dresses. She said that this time she wanted to have a different look, which I appreciate even though it didn't fit the theme.

I wasn't suggesting that she wear something "form fitting". Not remotely - that would be entirely expected and the furthest thing from avant garde. What I was suggesting was that she wear something that speaks to the theme of the event. Something interesting, not just beautiful. Candice is undoubtedly beautiful; one of the MOST beautiful, in fact, and I think largely everyone would agree with that. But I wish that she had've shown at this event that she was more than just beautiful. I wanted something creative and exciting.

To the best of my knowledge, the designers and models have autonomy over what dresses are worn on that red carpet. Often they're custom made for the event, and for some models they're actual collaborations (like Gigi this year, or Karolina at the China: Through the Looking Glass year).
