Carmen Carrera is a transgender reality television personality, model and burlesque performer. After making her reality television debut on “RuPaul's Drag Race” and “RuPaul's Drag U”, Carrera made it known she had begun transitioning from male to female after appearing on “ABC News: What Would You Do?” on May 4, 2012.
Since the beginning of her transition, Carmen has been an activist for trans-equality, promoting beauty in different forms through her work in the entertainment industry.
