Good news on the campaign front! This is BIG!

Juergen Teller won't just be exclusive to Marc Jacobs image-making this season: apparently he's helping Phoebe Philo curate the new Celine image by photographing newcomer Valerija Kelava and Carmen Kass for her first ads for the brand.

(granted its "reportedly" but its been a few sources now, so I have a feeling its true )

- as a side note, i like Carmen's Kors campaigns actually - I'm really happy for her that she has a loyal fan in Kors!
- In fact i even like her VS work, she makes it all look so classy!
- basically, the more Carmen the better

^ dude, calm down. I know Jurgen has a certain aesthetic, but imo thats also one that is very much "for" Marc Jacobs. Hopefully, and in fact very likely, he will do something different for Celine because clearly the target audiences and the customers of the brand are very different. Even looking at the clothing Phoebe has designed - you can tell that they're not going to shoot a half naked campaign.

basically...chill? (Oh and lets celebrate the fact that Carmen is in a campaign that is going to be buzzed about no matter what it looks like)

fair enough, but I'm sure that with the combination of Celine, Karmen, and the influence of Phoebe - i have faith it will be beautiful. Fingers crossed!

haha, i knew rado would object to the idea of teller behind the camera but personally i am glad it is celine, to which i think phoebe philo has restored a lot of respectability

I am always amazed by the fact that all of you guys complain so much about the Kors ads, they never bothered me...i am just happy they exist and i find it odd to complain about the style of the photos! it sounds really bad all the time! And if you think the campaigns are boring and repeatative, so is your complains about it as well)lol

Other people may be amazed by the fact that you complain about the Nick Knight ed and Juergen Teller. It sounds really bad .

I'm not a huge fan of Teller but I hope the pics for Celine turn out well.
Just happy that Carmen has something else this season other than Kors.

Totally agree the 2nd pic is very strange but as you say the rest are really nice. She looks so young in the first pic.

they have been together for several years. certainly love to see them to a very happy ending, and carmen looks genuinely happy beside him
