As A Female Model and TopModel at that I would think it would be appropiate to have your legs shaved...Not saying that there is anything wrong with hairy legs on a woman but I think as a Model, someone whose paid to show-off the ideal that the clothes are trying to convey that hairy legs can be a bit of a distraction. I think smooth, eventoned, gorgeous legs will sell a mini skirt quiker than a pair of hairy legs! Thats just my opinion! Please don't STONE ME!

I find it cool that Carmen could give a toss about some hair on her legs...it doesnt appear she has them on her thighs, higher up on her legs, if anyone has a photo where you can see that post it, but I'd hate to have this turn into a 'OMG Carmen Kass doesnt shave her legs' dilemma in her thread as this is to discuss her work and style, not B.S. like some leg hair.
She's gorgeous, she's natural, she's fabulous, and again, she apparently does what she wants and I admire that. I suppose MK doesnt care either, he has to know about it.

Anyway... It doesnt change my opinion of her in the slightest.

I agree with Junee, I am one of Carmen's biggest fans, but as a Model i think every girl should have smooth legs...it is just my opinion and I never saw any of the MK ads any sign of the hairs...they were either shaved or airbrushed with photoshop!

Not to be a hypocrite and stir up the pot, even if the topic is still Carmen, but found this, I was wondering if they were quoting someone from tfs:

supermodel carmen kass was spotted on yesterday's emilio pucci show, in a bit of a hairy moment. i kid you not, those weren't photoshopped pics. according to the grapevine, carmen has a strong opinion when it comes to shaving, much like julia roberts and bjork.


a reader commented that "it makes her more human". i have no problems with her as a person sticking to her beliefs. but pucci employed her as a model to make the products look good, so i am struggling to come to terms with pucci's decision, not carmen. gosh this is a hairy topic, much like the discussion of having colored or plus sized models on the runway.
