finally have an answer as to why Carmen Kass was not on the VS show this year.

I read in a Japanese magazine article that she was supposed to be on the show but she was unable to show up because of a non-immediate family member situation. There was a serious legal problem occuring with her family member that her presence was needed because of her expertise in politics. Carmen will appear on next year's show for VS though.

This year though, she was supposed to LEAD/START the entire show but because of her absense, Gisele was shosen (Accoring to a VS interview 3 months ago)

Don't worry you all, she's not done yet!!!
