“An uncomplicated silhouette” is what Carolina Herrera had in mind for resort. That, and her general love of flowers, made for a charming lineup of softly romantic looks. This season, the daisy was the designer’s bloom of choice, a motif that she featured throughout on easy, simple shapes. A long prairie-style dress, for instance, was done in an allover daisy pattern that felt similar to her signature polka dots. Other blooms came slightly more abstract on embroidered gowns as well as a chic lace print on shorts shown with a navy top featuring necklacelike strands of white beads.
