Carolina Herrera S/S 2026 Madrid

The beautiful black matador suit (look 17) with peaked shoulders and high waisted clam diggers is impeccable, so very chic.

Another fantastic show by Wes Gordon.
Sometimes, to have a good collection, it is enough with lots of desirable, flattering and beautiful dresses. It can be as simple as that.

Soft nods to Raf's Dior, or to classic Balenciaga, without copying. Most of the looks are gorgeous and would be approved by Carolina herself.

I would have done simple yellow or green tartan, without the red flowers (at that point of the show they felt too much).

The bags can be improved; they were either too casual (the big ones) or not refined enough (the minaudières).

I was impressed by some dresses completely covered in crystals (Dior wishes) and by the first one (a show-stopper). They didn't feel heavy.

Very good, altogether.

Those 3 poor copies of Sybilla...:rofl::rofl:

The collection was good.
I had wondered if the move to show in Madrid was tied to any political exhaustion, which would make total sense.
