Model Silvia Catalina Llanes is a Colombia native from Bucaramanga, and she has entered the modeling industry at full force. Known as Catalina, she is helping to pave the way for future Colombian models through her many groundbreaking accomplishments. One of Catalina’s best known accomplishments happened in 2011, when she was elected Best Model of the World in Istanbul, Turkey. Following this contest, she was awarded a modeling contract with the contest’s organizing firm. Catalina is now the first Colombian-born model to sign with IMG Models in New York, Pairs, Milan, and London. She is also the first Colombian model to be featured on Models.com.
Catalina has a unique look that sets her apart from other models. Her strong bone structure reveals her high cheekbones, which perfectly accent her beautiful brown, almond-shaped eyes.
